Update : 25,000 km no problemI mounted the sensors, spartan work!!!) (the kit has not yet arrived), I traveled about 100 km, at the moment no error code in diagnosis. Engine light off. The engine runs well on gasoline and also lpg
Rack & pinion or steering gear? There could be an issue inside you gear if you have one.My steering seems really hard to turn but only when I'm parked. It's almost like something in binding, but it doesn't do it when I'm moving. I have all new tie rods, idler, and pitman, the ball joints are freely moving, and there is no leaks in the system that I can see. Just about to replace everything and hope for the best.

its got a steering gear box (4WD) I was leaning towards that since its original and has 220k on itRack & pinion or steering gear? There could be an issue inside you gear if you have one.
I have not replaced the center link yet. It doesn't appear to have any damage or bends. Is it something I should be looking into replacing?Did you replace the centerlink?
Personally I would have replaced with the other components but I wouldn't now since you have it all back together, I was asking because it can be put in backwards unlike older vehicles which only went in one way. If it is put in backwards it can cause issues.its got a steering gear box (4WD) I was leaning towards that since its original and has 220k on it

Check and see if it looks wet between the master cylinder and booster. The rear seal could be worn out and leaking. Also check power steering fluid condition to see if it looks contaminated.I need opinions--Driving home from work last night, while stopped at a light my brake pedal slowly went down lower then it should've. Driving it progressively got worse. I changed the master cylinder 2 years ago this month. Changed using an AC Delco part. Do you guys think it sound like the mc again? There's no leaks coming from anywhere, although the mc is a tad low on fluid? My question is could it be the booster instead of the mc? How to differentiate between the 2? TIA.
I don't have hydroboost, so pwr steering fluid wouldn't be involved. How can you tell if just the booster is bad?Check and see if it looks wet between the master cylinder and booster. usally the pedal is rock hard when the booster is bad. like when the truck is off, a few pumps and its rock hard. <<<<man that didnt come out right lolI don't have hydroboost, so pwr steering fluid wouldn't be involved. How can you tell if just the booster is bad?

I think the most obvious answer is your booster is bad, but check for leaks around your entire system - could be losing pressure somewhere at a caliper, a line connection, etc.I don't have hydroboost, so pwr steering fluid wouldn't be involved. How can you tell if just the booster is bad?
Pedal isn't rock hard. I replaced the mc 2 years ago this month. Pedal slowly went to the floor at a red light, and never really recovered after that. I just ordered another mc. Another AC Delco.I think the most obvious answer is your booster is bad, but check for leaks around your entire system - could be losing pressure somewhere at a caliper, a line connection, etc.

Wow, looks great. How does it feel? Hard, or does it feel normal?Spray painted the carpet. Yes spray paint. It was heavily damaged by a 2 1/2 gallon container of pool chlorine (twice as strong as bleach) that toppled over and the lid popped off on because person in front of me HAD to stop for a just turned yellow light. Aaaarrgh!
Anyway, used the duplicolor HPV109 medium gray vinyl/fabric paint. It’s close enough for me. Looks way better than huge bright yellow stains splattered between the seats etc.
And I have replaced the bungee that broke that normally secures the chlorine !

Seems to feel fine. I didn’t lay it on thick and used a stiff brush the brush it right after in hopes of keeping from being crunchy. Surely a little stiffer / crunchy than before, but the trade off is well worth it.Wow, looks great. How does it feel? Hard, or does it feel normal?
