mwilson.... Where did you get your headlights from? Do they work well?? ( are they 'sort of' plug -n-play?)
........ and I hope you removed your beer can from the battery before you closed the hood![]()
Nice shiny new coil springs and stops on the rear:

How’s the ride?Didn’t like the rear sag when I loaded the XL this week, so swamped these new springs for heavy duty version. Gained about 1.5 inches, but should settle back down a little.View attachment 268061
^^Let you know. Only drove it around the block, seemed good though.

precision workI replaced some bulbs in the window switches and other pieces last week and didn’t have pics so here they are. I had to replace one again tonight, not sure why but it burned out and melted the diffuser at the same time. It’s tedious as hell. Not recommended in 99-02. I hear the 03-06’s are better, it’s a different design.

Good to know. Thanks. The issue was with the normal duty springs I was just over 36” not loaded. now I’m up at about 37.5. What shocks/springs do you have on the rear? Previous owner just put KYB Gas-adjust shocks on it before I bought it. Not sure if it had Nivomat from the factory or not. It’s ZW7 premium ride, but no G65 rpo code.( rear sagging after loading).....
Hmmm..... I loaded my '05 Yukon XL to the gills about 6 months ago. It only lowered 1 1/2" inches.
( I believe the top of fender skirt was 37.5 inches, then loaded, to 36 inches.)
Something like that...

Denali headlights fit the regular Yukon’s.I have the ZW7 premium ride / Nivomat...... The rears look original.... but seem to still perform good even with 150,000 miles.
I would like to firm up the sway. Though, the turning does seem pretty good. ( I ALWAYS want to improve the handling )
On another note.... I checked out the headlights..... They mention "Denali" with the Yukon.
I will call them to confirm the fit ( picture they show may be a reference picture?)
Congrats on the raise.![]()
Got the windows tinted. And honestly kinda wish I went 15% all around instead of 20.![]()
Also apparently this sub wanted to escape from the box. Had to turn it at an angle and rescrew it in.
Got a raise at work so HOPEFULLY I can actually put some money away to do more work on this girl.
