Thank you much. Big bonus knowing who ordered the truck brand new and how they took care of it. 6.2 with 10 speed is nice too. She added CAI and ordered it with the Borla

Ok George, update your member photo with your new ride. I’m a fan of the K2 RST. At least until 107k on my 2020 and the unwarranted tranny was on its last leg. If had a warranty, I’d still be driving it.

Your 2020 RST was the performance version with 6.2 10 speed combo right?

What symptoms did you have with your 107K mile 10 speed that made you think it was on its last leg?

Yes
Sloppy engagement sometimes. Shifting flairs sometimes.
Delay to toward after using reverse sometimes.

Ordered and received all 4 new 02 sensors for the wife's 16 burb, ordered 3 of them Denso and 1 gm (ac-delco) because it was a few dollars cheaper
AND..... as usual the ac-delco is in fact a Denso as well per typical gm fashion :driver:
for reference the 02 sensors on the K2's are 3 different models the front's L/R are different and the rears are the same

Feeling like 2013, and debating putting on my old 28" or 24" rims...both classic DUB rims. 24" are 295/35r24 mad the 28" are 295/25r28. included time stamp of my old EXT for validation lol

not bad here, in the 12+ years running the 28" only one bend that needed fixed and a current small one the still holds air..

I upgraded the 18 silverado D5S bulbs about 5 years ago with a 55w adapter kit, one bulb finally took a dump, finding replacement bulbs is dam near unobtanium
I did have a spare set of bulbs that I ordered in 2020 but they were $32 then, now there over $100 (from outside the u.s.)
or I can take a stab at ordering from a verified alibaba dealer for 10 sets for around $150 (shipped)
:hmm:

Just got done putting on over 6,000 miles on her in the last month. Drove from Arizona to north Idaho and back for the 4th of July, then the day we got home turned around and the next morning drove from Arizona to Denver, CO for a week or so then back.
Averaged ~19.7mpg up to Idaho and back.
Averaged ~21.2mpg to Denver and back.
The Tahoe didn’t skip a beat. Only had one weird hiccup where if I was going uphill with cruise control on and had to tap the brakes because I was coming up on someone the dash would flicker and a stabilitrac message popped up for a millisecond then disappear.
The battery would fluctuate down to 11.5 then back to 14+
Only happened 2-3 times within the span of an hour and then didn’t happen again.
So I think it’s time for a new battery to get rid of that gremlin.

It supposed to do that, called rvc…. Monitors battery to see if it needs more or less charge

Yeah I know it does that but the flickering of the dash and the stabilitrac popping up for a millisecond isn’t normal.
And it only happened when the charge was low so I figure it might be time to do the Costco battery exchange.
Arizona heat kills batteries.
