Well......It happened

Last Febuary my wife had the itch for a new vehicle. Ended up with a 2015 Denali with 85k on it. I know better to buy a first year vehicle, but she loved it and I got it. Its a nice ride for sure. Does not have any of
the buffeting issues I always read about. I have always been worried about the lifters failing, but all has been good.

Fast forward to last Saturday. Im out in the garage when she comes home from work. I know as soon as she was coming down the driveway what had happened. Sounded like a 40 year old diesel truck with bad injectors. 104k on it so 4,000 miles out of warranty. They timed that one just right huh?

So I have this thing tore down waiting on parts. Ended up goin with a TSP "SV" cam. Deleted the AFM but keepin the VVT. Hopefully everything else is good for another 100k. Anyway just here to vent a little and cry on you guys shoulder. Haha

Haha. Maybe she did. Im assuming it fell out of the cup when the lifter failed. It was hammering pretty good.
