Most definently I was in the Wrong place right time , or something like it . The rocks never stopped . I knew something was going happen . Hell it looked feasible on Google . I've been driving these roads (learned here ) since 68' , and always wanted to try Como the back way in . I was fed up , cabin fevered basically said screw it . I don't know if you've ever driven Off Road up here . I've driven hundreds of miles on those old logging roads with a six-pack of Stout and a Pittmons Map (never drank a "sixer") . If you're up to it get on-line (Northern Nevada) look for "Como" (Ghost Town) , going through the foothills it's 6,000 ft. elevation , Como is around 8,000' . From 4500-to 6500 and maybe more it's dense black volcanic rock . I'll never take my truck that far back again on roads that rough . I'll trailer in with my Can-Am Quad 4x4 . I was 30 miles back in the foothills aiming the Tahoe the Pine Nut Mountains . Glad to see you came home ! Thanks !!

My first brand new car, '83 Plymouth Tursimo, a glorified Omni in nicer-looking clothes. Test drove an automatic but bought the stick; the 2.2L ran pretty good. Hatchback with the timely louvers. When I moved it out here to Colorado in '85 I had to have the carb 'tuned' to high altitude. It's been up over Old Fall River Road through Rocky Mtn. National Park to Granby.

No, it's long gone. I think it had about 105K on the clock when I traded it in '90. Def carb'd, as I paid my mechanic "DAWG" at the time to get it running better at altitude.
