Anyone who has this interior color, how do you like it? How is it with dirt compared to teak? I was reluctant to go with the dreary all black color with no contrast.

Anyone have any good pictures of the very dark ash gray / walnut interior? I look around this forum, YouTube and Facebook and I see conflicting looks of the colors depending on the lighting.

I have a deposit on a 2023 that is black outside and that color inside.

We have the light color interior on our 2019 Yukon SLE that we purchased this month. Very happy. The entire interior is light colored (headliner, plastic, seats, carpets) which we really wanted vs all black or light color seats with all black carpet/headliner. Here is pic of the cockpit. Ours has cloth seats which we also wanted btw. Hope this helps

I have the slate and dark walnut on a 23 yukon slt. I really love it. It's much better in person then in pictures. I'll snap some once the weather clears up.

I'm normally an all black interior person but wanted something more light. My wife really likes it too. Looks really modern.

I think you may be right. I have looked through every picture of dark walnut you can find, and it seems to be a very dark brown type color... like a cappuccino color.

I seem to like it better than the Umber-brown color in the Ultimate, which is one of the reasons why I went for the Denali w/ reserve instead of the ultimate.

I've seen the Very Dark Ash Grey/Walnut.

The seats and the floor are the walnut, including the plastic panels on the seats and floor. Think Hershey Bar Brown or a tad darker...but not dark chocolate color.
The console, door handles, part of the dash, door panels are Ash Grey (like a graphite color).

I considered it to be my color of choice, until I saw it in person...then I went to Teak/Light Shale. But I have never been partial to dark interiors.

No, that is not it. It’s either a jet black, or it’s a preproduction model in a color not offered.
The seats and dash are dark brown.

Here is another one:

The reviewer describes that interior as dark mocha.

I don't want to be a negative nancy, but honestly - how does this help? It's a completely different colorway and not at all what OP asked?

Im sorry. I thought he asked about light color interior and wanted pics. I know its previous gen but differences not too severe. At least it was a bit more helpful than your response ;)

I would have been happy to show him my very dark ash gray / walnut interior had my truck been delivered, but alas, waiting months and months with no apparent constraints and no truck-in-hand.

But in terms of my response, yes I do believe this is helpful:

Thank you. Now I feel comfortable with my choice of interior. I love the subtle and dark brown of the mocha. Definitely like it better than the ultimate more leathery brown.

I chose Metallic blue with this exact interior color as well. Just waiting on build and deliver as well - I think the combo looks pretty slick.

Amen. Good pics. Sorry for any confusion.

Ps-I hear ya on the wait. We traded our bronco badlands (pics) for the yukon. Some of those bronco guys have been waiting 2+ years for their rigs. Still waiting. So I can imagine how you felt when you saw a 2019 interior when OP asked about 2023..especially if you waited and waited. My apologies. Hopefully the delivery of all new cars improves this year and you get yours soon.

Come on guys, you can't go wrong with the black interior, my parents had an Escalade years ago with the tan colored interior. The leather was real leather and looked good as it aged but the tan carpet and plastic looked terrible after 5 years or so.

To me all black looks cheap on these suvs. The slate/walnut gives it a more upscale and modern look.

I wouldn't judge new cars based on old cars as things have come a long way since.

To each their own, that is why they make several colors for us to choose from.

For me; black is the worst. And for me, the part I think makes it look the worst is the amount of black plastic...its just a lot of it, esp in the rear end, and when it scratches, it looks white...I also don't like the black because it is so monotone...but, I also don't care for "black out" look on the outside either...like I said, to each their own.

And, it shows every speck of dust, lint, etc...way more than lighter colors...

Those are my reasons...but like I said...you do you!

Sorry for the late reply. 23 Yukon SLT. Really love the interior. It does have a more upscale appearance than the black IMO.
