If they are gonna be dicks about it like that, I would take the pics up close (have someone hold the lift gate where it hits them and then send them the pics). Then I'd tell them to send the cash back including the shipping.

they shouldn't have used soft urathane, the tabs don't snap in very good at all and there isn't a mounting clip at the bottom like stock ones. mine clear everything fine they just don't snap in well. i think the problems stem for that urathane not holding shape very well.

Yeah I was surprised to see that as well. I hope mine clear okay. I guess I will find out soon enough. Truck goes into the shop Monday. Fingers crossed!

Sorry to hear that man! You can buy set of old vent caps cheap and take them to a body shop and have them smoothed and painted! And they will fit hellva lot better then aftermarkets! That's what I did but I smoothed them myself and them sprayed! Just option for ya.

you can tape off the front and fill the rear in with fiber glass and sand the front smooth and paint.

you filled your stock ones?

what did you use to fill in the voids bondo?

No I bought a set off Ebay for 10bucks then I sanded them and then tape the areas I didn't won't Bondo and I taped the back of the vent holes then I filled the holes in pressing it down in the holes so they were completely filled and then I let the bondo get semi hard and removed the tape off the vent holes so it breath, then proceeded to fill the rest in. It will take several times of sand and applying more bondo to build it so there nice and smooth. once I was done I tape the front off and sprayed the back with undercoating to seal it water is the number 1 enemy to bondo so you gotta seal it good and make sure the front has no pin holes it. Well thats what I did with mine and yet to have one problem even through winter months.
