vaccum leaks - where to start looking?

reckon i'll start here first. not sure to even begin where to look.

spray some carb cleaner around the hoses and listen for an increase in RPM, that will narrow your issue down

You can also use unlit propane -- a bit safer.

Also pinch off the vacuum line for the brake vacuum booster to see if it makes any difference.
