Hey guys, I am new here and tried getting some info here but I am now more confused than ever.

I have an 07 Yukon w/o nav, but w/ Bose. Is there any way I can add an Amp / Subs to the stock head unit... and if not what do I need to change out the head unit to one that I had in my last truck. I'm not concerned w/ onstar or xm working because I do not subscribe to them in this car, and if push comes to shove, I dont need the wheel controls either.

I would prefer a harness to get some RCA's to run subs like I did in my '11 Camaro w BA system (http://subthump.com/Chevrolet-GMC-S...ess-For-Factory-Boston-Amp-Rear-Channels.html) This way I can keep everything looking stock, and I dont mind the stock head unit, I would just like more bass.

Thanks in advance!

You can definitely do it. But if you are going through the trouble and you already have an decent aftermarket stereo you may as well swap them out.

The only reason to keep the stock is for the Nav or the look really.

Depending on the brand of the unit you have from your last truck there are plenty of options available to integrate both OnStar, XM, and the steering wheel controls. I know you said it's not a big deal, but without an integration module you'll lose your door dings, turn signal clicks, and warning chimes.

PAC makes a couple of good modules for OnStar integration and steering wheel integration.

Hope that gets you started, and welcome to the forum.
