trim removal question

I have a 2011 yukon sle with all the wanna be wood finish and I want to paint it. I was wondering how it come off my dash? does it just pop out or do I have to paint it inside the truck? thanks Keith.

On the passenger side of dash you need to pop out the hvac vent theres a screw there that needs to be removed the rest will just pop out

Oh be careful if you have the DIC control switches to the right of the steering wheel DO NOT PULL it out to hard or to far you will neef to disconnect the connector

Has anyone done an actual step by step how to on this process? I'd like to do something about the wood trim like PD it or something.
