Thanks for the numbers. When I got the carmax cash quote, I called them to see if it was negotiable, not. They were polite and completely unstood my asking but didn’t budge.

ugh.. walking into any GM dealer right now asking to trade your L87 is equivalent to walking into a $tr1p club on Saturday night with a big ole wooden sign around your neck that says “I’M BROKE”.. you’re going to get *zero* play.

Best bet is carmax and hope that they haven’t put a flag in all the sales person’s computers that says DO NOT BUY when they punch in your VIN. Or perhaps even Carvana since they dgaf about what they buy or sell to people.

edit: now I’ve seen people say far worse things on here the censorship is ridiculous
Again i just posted wholesale values. This isn't kbb. This is what these cars sell for today at dealer wholesale with every transaction and price listed.

I really dont understand why some are just posting non sense. Now a dealer may use the recall to give you less money but as for the vehicles actually being worth less? As of today they are not.

Yeah you have to realize that even still they want to make something even when they wholesale. So being a few grand from the wholesale is expected. Anything larger and they are being greedy. You have more ammo if you buy from them as its a win win.

And by the way is was carvana I spoke with. The two names are too close. Carvana cash offer was 63. I had 72 going at a dealership when they politely and suddenly declined.
Like I said earlier, probably just hang out and see where this shit show goes.

Gm dealers shouldn't have any issue taking a trade. It's strange they stopped talking to you. A small independent will have more trouble as dealer auctions favor the manufacturer dealer VS small independents in terms of turning a unit for higher dollar. Independents usually dont buy from independents as usually those are insinuated to be problem cars. Whereas the big brand dealers have fresh trade ins etc.

But if you enjoy the vehicle dont let the recall scare you. Toyota survived. Gm will too.

Your wholesale values don’t mean sh*t.. members here and I’m sure plenty others elsewhere have already reported being turned away or ignored trying to trade or sell their L87’s, so how is it non sense?

GM dealers most likely won’t want to wash their hands with it, as we’ve already seen reported. Your black book values are only as good as a dealer that will actually take the vehicle on trade.

Take a chill pill.
Black book? Lmao

Dude this is what is being sold today. At the USA's biggest wholesale auctions with real transaction history. This isn't the 90s anymore lol..black book...lmao

If a gm dealer doesnt want your business take it elsewhere but dont insinuate they are doing that to prevent losing money. Hell go talk to their purchaser and tell them to show you the MMR real time and explain why he cant work with you.

I've never seen so many confidently incorrect people..sheesh.

I know, I’m looking at one now named ‘durayuk’..

But OK man, you won this battle, clearly common sense was no match for your refined expertise on this subject. Carry on.

Yeah I'm sorry for trying to help as a business insider who purchases vehicles and has access to the dealer platforms..

My bad for trying to help with facts and objective data and not just what I 'feel'
