Trade in my 1500 for 2500

I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL 1500 it's 5 to 5.3 motor and it's in very good condition very well nice and clean .


But I've always wanted the 6.0 L or the 8.1 L Yukon XL's .

My question is how do I find the right forum or place to meet people that are willing to trade in their 2500s.

I want to 2500 because im married and I got three kids total and two dogs I'll be hauling the trailer which is a bit too heavy for my 1500 .


Lives in the orange county region of southern California , truth be told I can't find anyone with a 2500 nevertheless someone with a GMT 800 series 2500.


All of the SUVs that I see are 1500s

Start doing nationwide searches and be willing to travel. They haven't made them since 2013 so owners have nothing to upgrade to, which makes the used market pretty bare... especially if looking for a newer rig with low mileage

I'm looking... you know the problem is that I gotta look nation wide. I wish I could just find someone online or find a website to where I'll meet someone to do the trade off.

You don't think anyone would want a clean well maintained 5.3 for a 6.0 or 8.1?


I know many people with 2500s complain about the gas mileage.

How much would a GMT800 2500 go for?
