Hi All, do you think a 2018 Yukon could safely tow the 272BHS?

Width - 8 feet
Height - 10.58 feet
Weight - 5,036 lbs.
Payload capacity - 2,510 lbs.
GVWR - 7,540 lbs.
Hitch Weight - 540 lbs.

That’s too long, I wouldn’t do it. The issue with travel trailers isn’t the weight, it’s the sail area. A trailer that big will push you around every side wind or passing semi.

Edit: I’ll revise my answer to say that if the length stated is overall including the hitch -in other words it’s a 27’ floor plan- then it’s just within the envelope. I’d do it with two people, packed lightly. If you’re a family (and the bunkhouse implies that) then the combination of more passenger weight and more cargo will in my opinion be more than I’d recommend for the short wheelbase platform to tow.

Thanks Bill. This model just came up for sale. Looks like they have some smaller version of this trailer. Will keep looking. I do have the max tow package on my Yukon.
