torsion key bolts bottomed out

Had a shop install my keys and ithe doesn't seem to be much higher than when I had my factory keys bottomed out. so while checking things out I noticed the adjuster bolts are bottomed out, but there still room between the key and brace. so question is do I need longer bolts? or are the keys installed at the wrong angle? I will get pics if needed. my 285 70 17 grabber rubber turning up hill and that is what got me looking into it. thanks in advance
