Trying to replace lower control arm and front wheel hub/bearing assemblies.

I've never had an issue finding torque specs before, but this time...I can't find them for the life of me..OR, I find them in a couple places and they all contradict each other.

So, I opted to not replace them over the weekend until I could get some accurate specs. Wouldn't you know, one of the bearings went out on me last night and had to tow her home.

Any idea where I can find all of these magical numbers?

auto zone has a good site with the how to manuals, have you tried to put in control arms and auto zone" to see what you get they give you good numbers but the control arms since they are lobed you might have to mark the bolts and chasis to get the alignment back to where it was

Holy cow, thanks @PNW VietVet!!

Where did you source those from?

I am in Eugene area. I ran shops before but now am a resident manager at a self storage facility in Eugene. I figure 35+ years as a tech for 10 and service manager for 25+ is good enough before I retired and looked elsewhere for another adventure. I am a stones throw away from Kendall Chevrolet, if you know who and where they are.

As far as the specs, I just googled for them and several forums came up and I found these on the second forum I opened. Apparently the supplier of the specs works at a GM dealer. The specs were laid out just as I copied and pasted, so I am assuming they came from a software set up in a repair shop, like All Data or Mitchell or GM software. Glad I could help.

Specs are posted across this forum. The spindle nut ad washer ought to be replaced with new and is torqued to 177 ft lbs. The factory nut is 35 mm and if using a Dorman replacement, those are 36 mm.

Go GM OE, ACDelco or Timken (SP500301) for the hub.
