Good day everyone.

Does anyone have info on the torque specs for the front seats of the 03-06 GM family? Haynes manual tells you how to remove the seats but doesn't give any torque specs for reinstall. I wonder if there are any, since the manual usually states them elsewhere throughout. Given the safety issues, seems like the seat bolts would have torque specs.

Didn't find anything online, either.

Thanks for any insight any of you can provide!

Nice n' snug

No seriously. Just tigten them until it feels good. It's a seat, not a rotating assembly or anything sensitive to a few thousandths warping.

What socket is needed for seat bolts? It's like a star.

Of note: Loctite breaks down around 500 degrees. Put a wet cloth on the carpet and clear plastic bits from around the area. Hit it with a pencil torch for a minute or two, keep the heat localized and it should come out rather easily
