 How fast did you make it to? What was the citation?

I was "only" doing 110 in the E55, which admittedly, is not very fast for what the car can do and there was no traffic. This is why the very nice CHP officer declined to site me for anything except "exceeding 100 mph". Stock, the car was "limited" to 155 mph and would run into the limit in third gear. It was "up limited" to 186 mph since that's about the max speed of most tires. At the time, it was $550+ and 30 days without a license, plus 2 points on my record like a DUI or reckless as opposed to a single point for most infractions. So now if I get the bug, I go like a bat out of hell,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to 99 mph. :)

I go fast all the time...
These trucks honestly aren't really that slow. Way faster than they look.

I'm not encouraging to do the same, but I have clocked in my Denali 139mph with GPS (the only way to know). With better conditions I would bet that it could do better (there was not enough road). It was late at night and had my Beltronics STI Radar Detector on (bad ass radar BTW). The truck has custom programming, intake, no cats and custom borla/pypes mufflers (one after another replacing OEM).
It did 14.6@98mph on the 1/4 mile with the engine hot as hell (didn't let it cool down) with 100k+ miles on the odometer. I love my Denali. This trucks are amazing... period.
