Agree 1,000%. No can do now.The sooner you have someone cut that rot out and repair it the better.

HahahahaI think I got ya both beat but I ain't shown mine today.I think I’ve got you beat with theothertwin.

I see both you guys have done a roof rack delete. I think I'll go another way and have a custom steel tube 1 built to put the kayaks on. The factory one is like scary to put big stuff on and hope it likes 75-80 mph when I'm passing stuff!Yours actually looks even. Funny how fast it happened on mine. Too fast.

Actually both of mine are police models ordered with rack delete. On thecopcar I added a factory rack so I could carry a kayak Or maybe an awning.I see both you guys have done a roof rack delete. I would fire your manicurist if I were you, haI left it alone for awhile. Saw these on cl, and they looked much nicer then the stock lights, which I think are super ugly--no offense to those who like them. View attachment 79877So much nicer.
Threw these bulbs in there for the brake lights. Don't know what they are, got them for free. View attachment 79878 View attachment 79879
I think they look much better then the stock bulbs. I tried leds, but weren't bright at all, really hard to see behind the red lenses.
Lol hi welcome to the forum from N.Z.I made it to page 34, and I'm kinda scared to see how many transmissions you have put in in the other 500 pages lol.

Any questions just ask.I'm trying to figure out what parts to order right now, but I will definitely be back to this thread.
I can understand your concern about the age!True?
Yes they are handy aren't they but the factory 97 rack on mine is 24 year old plastic anchors with light alloy rails. The cross bars are the strongest part but wont hold it to the roof if 1 of the 12 anchor screws let's go!
I hope no one is following me!
Love the black n white!!I can understand your concern about the age!
if you zoom in, you can see the added rack here.

If it makes you feel better, I get about the same in thecopcar.Thought I mentioned this--on my little trip to Pa--mpg was 12.3, coming home was 13.2--or something like that. I think my 8000 lbs running $hittingly van gets a little better.
That was driving normal--without romping on it.If it makes you feel better, I get about the same in thecopcar.
I get around 15 in theothertwin doing that. Thecopcar sux because of the all terrain tires and weight of camping gear and water. That was driving normal--without romping on it.
$10 a gallon?? I bet there's alot of gas being stolen from cars. That happened alot back in the 70's during our gas shortage. In my area, average price if regular unleaded is $3.15 a gallon. I paid $3.64 a gallon for super.95 is around $10.00 a gallon here now. Govt is taxing s h I t out of it at the moment as they subsidise a change to electric. I have spent $100 in 4 weeks driving!
Been on the push bike to work as much as possible to get some summer fitness going ahead of summer pursuits.
Have done 4 days on it this week and I'm ******* e d. Think I'll shout myself a bottle of wild Turkey on the way home to celebrate my accomplishments.
Hahahaha
