Well like the title says, Im just sick and tired of being sick and tired... Tired of these punks with their stock 300 watt supreme systems. I guess its just good enuff. I have relocated, and heard a few people beating but nothing major. Just wanting to take it back the old school way in a IPOD/Pandora way. Time to throw a system into my Tahoe that will be a true street stomper, like all my other vehicles. But If I can remember correctly I bought this Tahoe just to complete a system. So enuff with my performance mods, and time to get the beats going.
I have drafted out the plans for my new design for my 01 Tahoe.
As far as HU, I have a BS Dual DVD I picked up for very cheap, and still have siting in the closet. The iPhone iTune and Pandora will have tons of music.
It has 2 pairs of rcas for FR & RR and has a single rca for SUB.
I will be wiring them accordingly... 2 Sets into the EQX. The EQX can control 1/2 octaves and full octaves. And this 1 can control 4 outputs, HP, LP, FP, SUBLP. The others I see it only has 1 output.
SUB out into the EPICENTER, which is a digital brain just to enhance bass. Its a processor.
All channels of my outputs will be sent to the line driver. Which will boost the RCA input voltage to the amplifiers between 5-11V... not the standard 2V on the RCAs.
The line driver will feed:
4 2500 rms / 5000 watt mono block amps on 4 18s. Box will take up the entire space from behind the 2nd row, still bellow the window line, subs facing upwards, and very low port 25-30hz exiting the back towards the tail gate.
1 or 2 1400 rms 4 ch amps on 4 full range 6.5s & 2 component 6.5s maybe 2 horns.
Electrical will consists of 2 Kinetic batteries, and 2 350amp ** alternators. 4/0 run to back distribution, big 3, 2/0 gauge. Thats all I need, Im mostly after current here. May run the equipment on 16v system.
I should be able to piece the rest of these parts together shortly, hopefully by the new year.
