Looking to get new tires for the truck.

It now sits on leveled suspension with a 2” drop in the back and stock ride height in the front.

I’m looking at 285/70/17 tires, my question is has anyone had any issues with that size rubbing, full turn/lock to lock, into the wheel wells (into the fender lip) or into the suspension (the struts, shocks, springs)?????

I had on my Silverado with aftermarket wheels rub full lock into the inner wheel well with tires this size.

Thanks

Paul

I'm about 75% sure the outside shoulder of the tires will rub the inner fender liner when turning while cycling the suspension (hitting a bump, an incline into or out of a driveway, etc.). Straight driving and normal turns would likely be ok. Worst case, you need to some minor clearancing, either by cutting or heating and reshaping plastic.
