Tire/Wheel Combo Question

Hey guys,

I just bought a set of 295/70/17 Terra Grapplers for my Z71 Tahoe. I am looking at wheels now and I am curious to know how much of a size difference 1" will make in terms of wheel width. I am going back and forth between 17x8 and 17x9 of these: http://www.4wheelparts.com/prodDetail.aspx?partNo=PCW98-7983

I currently don't have keys and spacers but they are being ordered shortly.

From my post on Z71T-S:

"Nitto recommends using a 7.5"-10" wide wheel for the 295/70-17 Terra Grappler. You'll be fine with either. I personally like to run my wheels on the skinny end of the recommended width to help protect the wheel lips from curbs, rocks (when on trails), etc."

I personally like wider wheels,
lets all the tread touch the ground better.
better footprint

8 is plenty wide for a 295 tire
9 would be more for looks

I ordered the 9", just need keys and spacers but I am really excited to finally make a move on doing this.
