I've had my 2002 Yukon for 7 years as of this weekend. I've been wanting a lifted truck for a while but the prices are stupid right now. The 2000-2006 Silverado and Sierra's around here going for $7500 to $10,000 for a halfway decent one and they all have 175,000 miles on up. Anything with around 100,000 miles or less or going for $10,000 +. I know that the lifted trucks have anywhere from $2000 to $5000 in the lift, wheels and tires.
Since my Yukon is basically the same thing I'm going to just lift it. I know it's a 2wd but like the lifted look. I originally bought it because I had 3 Great Danes. The fold down flat rear seat was perfect for them. As of now we only have 1 Dane. The other 2 have passed away in the last year or so (still heart broken). I decided on just doing a 3" lift. Really easy to do (I've built cars, motors and bikes for 50 years).
Doing a search I found 2 old good post on the lifts. I am going to go with the first one. I assume the front brake line is long enough to do a 3" spindle lift. And I like the rear Silverado 2500 shocks that the guy used. I'm not sure what size tires and rims to go with yet. Going to keep reading threads and looking on Market Place for a set. I will probably do this in the next few weeks. I've been retired for 7 years so I have plenty of time.

The other thing I am going to get is a 02 Chevy HD hood. I already put Escalade D pillars and 06 Tahoe borderless back window. And I painted the grill and front bumper the body color.

06 2wd spindle lift on 33’s.
3” spindle, tiny bit of crank, and a 3” coil spacer in the rear. Stock front shocks, 3/4 ton Silverado rear shocks. 17x9 -12 offset on 33x12.50. Had to do the fender mod. Rides great. Anyone have any oem painted flares for sale? Any color as long as they’re already smooth
