Thoughts on rims for a 2007 Black Z71 Tahoe

I am thinking about pulling the trigger on some new rims. I am looking at the 20" Enkei ETS rims.

i can't stand brushed/black wheels. they look super cheap, imo.

What Tires are u thinking on putting on those wheels?

I was going to go with Cooper Zeon LTZ tires. 275/55/20

I have never had a set of black rims so its kind of new to me as well. I was thinking the brushed aluminum on the wheels would go well with the brushed aluminum exterior pieces of the Z71 package. I have kind of been bouncing back and forth though.

go for a clean set of all black or all polished

I will see what i can find. Im not a fan of all black. Its just never appealed to me. The ones above were definitely a step outside of the box for me. LOL.

I like the look of alloy wheels or polished. Not big on chrome either. Kind of narrows my field down a pretty good bit i guess.

Those were actually the ones that i started looking at to begin with. They are still a possibility.

You're wise to want to match your wheels' metal finish to the bright pieces on your truck. It doesn't make sense to me when people put brushed wheels on trucks that have chrome accent. The two ought to match, in my opinion.

Also, in case you haven't considered it, wheels with a lip (or that have a face that's inset from the outer edge of the wheel) tend to look SMALLER than they really are on these trucks. If that matters to you (it does to me), then you may want to look at something with less of a lip/recess, since you're looking at staying with 20"s.

Thanks for the input! I think i am going to go with the LTZ polished 20" rims. I found a few pictures of those on Z71 tahoes and thought they looked pretty good with a little more aggressive tire. Now i just have to find a set. LOL. Timmy, i am going to try and contact the user you had mentioned in regards to future sets he may have available. I think he sold the previous two sets already. I have a black Z71 also and I have the stop wheels with 285 nitto trail grapplers. I'm
Bout to get brushed metal an black wheels. I'm doing the XD Hoss. Look them up. They make then in all black, chrome, an brushed metal an black. I think it's going to look an will post pics as soon as it is done
