So this is the package I'm about to purchase for the oem housings (no halos):

Main projector: OEM FX35 bi-xenon w/ FX-R clear lens
Secondary inner projector: Morimoto Mini H1 bi-xenon
Ballasts: Morimoto 3Five 35w for both
Shrouds: E46-R Extended for main + E46-R regular for inner
Bulbs: Morimoto 3Five 5000K D2S for main and Morimoto 3Five 5000K H1 for inner
Wiring: 2x H11 relay harnesses + 9005 to dual solenoid splitters to make quad high beams work

Thoughts before I pull the trigger?

I'm not yet sold on the shrouds ... here's some other available ones if anyone has any suggestions: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/index.php?cPath=30&osCsid=d2sp2nphmq55d4dn7ckiupfcvpt3v8la

They look good a little plain but good. Although way better than the spaceshipnlooking ones lol

Yup, I'm thinking along the same line ... although I prefer calling them 'clean' more than 'plain.' :)

Lol yeah clean sounds better so are u doing the retrofit yourself or are u sending ur headlights in?

I don't even turn the headlights on myself, I heavily rely on the auto setting. :)

Yeah no, they're being sent away to be retroed and I'm driving to the installer to fit them.

Haha I agree. The spaceship sucks go for the clean/plain shrouds. I can't wait until this is done!!! I'm waiting for a total price and some final pics before I pull the trigger on this mod but I knowwww it's gonna look good.

Has anyone thought of doing a bigger housing inside of it? Since you have it open anyway?

Something like this? (admittedly horribly hacked up ps job but you get the idea.. )

I like those too, sumo just make sure that the gattling low beam shroud extends all the way to the base of the housing. Our trucks have pretty deep housings and not all the shrouds are big enough.
