Tail Gator"s

I have had a 97, a 98 and two 99's . All had barn doors but the last one a 99 has a tail gate. I love it, that is one of the things I hated about moving into q 2011 and a "hatchback". But it sure is nice having the rack and pinion steering and the 9 speaker Bose system. A few more things, but the tail gate on the 99 is going to make me fight to keep it as my 2nd vehicle and start the rebuild. first thing is the motor and drive line.

dunno i had nothing but trouble with the rear hatch and liftgate on my 97 regularly. between my wife slamming doors all the time and its age its not a suprise but still quite annoying. ive since replaced it with a 07 mountaineer with the hatchback. being able to pop the rear hatch and do whatever i need to out the back even in the rain is nice.
