Swapping power assist running step boards for fixed/non powered step boards

Hello Im looking at on 07 Escalade and I'm wondering if I can swap the power assist steps and take them.off and put just the regular fixed steps. Call me crazy and know it's an upgrade but I'm not a fan of the power steps. Can someone confirm if they can be swapped? Please!! If they can't this is a deal breaker for me.

You can swap and I agree about power steps. I always look to buy without but if you found a 2007 you could remove them and put regular steps in. You can but the switch panel from a non power step heated windshield model.
