Sunroof won't close all the way or go to "fent" position4

Hi all,

Recent owner of a "new" 2001 Tahoe. Really happy with it, want to do a little bit of fixing up. One current problem (that I have no experience with) is the sunroof.

Sunroof will open and close. However, when closing the back of it won't push up into the fully closed position. Also it won't "lift" to the vent position.

I tried the resync thing, and the motor activates and moves it a little, but it still doesn't fully close. Any thoughts on what to look at?

I'm having the same issue and mine won't even close. How did you fix it?
