1. Clearly, he PIT'd him because the bubba driver flipped him off.
If drivers got PIT'd every time they flipped someone off, driving would be lots more 'hilarious'.

I'd not be surprised if the PPVs had trouble catching the bubba because of the bubba's advantageous axle gearing.
Yes, my hypothesis is that the bubba had more assertive axle gearing than the PPVs.
