In the past I had a 2005 Tahoe that we installed a sub box for 2 10's under the middle seat. We've since sold that truck (still have the sub box) and are about to pick up a 2014 Yukon XL in a few weeks. I'm wanting to know if there is a similar box for the Yukon? All the searching I've been doing shows boxes for a 2013 crew cab available, but not much for Suburbans and Yukons. Since I don't have the vehicle yet, I can't check and see if the space under the seat is similar or not to the older Tahoe.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

I cannot personally help you with your question; however, other members on this Forum that are much more knowledgeable than me in this area will chime in.

Am I correctly assuming that the Yukon that you are interested in has a second row bench seat?

The 2000-2006 Tahoe/Yukon had tons or room under the 2nd row seats, and many options. Switching to the 2007-2014 body style, under the bench seat has a little less height (and different mounting brackets/design). So I don't believe your old box would work.

As someone who loves custom car audio, I'm trying to find a sub box that fits under the 2nd row captain chairs for my new to me 2009 Escalade. The measurements under the seat are about: 2-2.25" height, 8.5" depth, and 11-12" length. It looks like I will try and build my own box, but would require a 6" shallow mount sub and likely cutting the carpet and foam to gain about a 1/2". Ugh! I miss my 2009 Tahoe bench, which had more room under the seats and more options, such as the hideaway powered subs.

Would love to also hear what other members have done for a stealth subwoofer. My last Tahoe, I ultimately took-out the 3rd row and built a dope box.

Here are the photos of my 09 Tahoe setup @DougIVKS
