CRC is the brand name of the MAF cleaner, you need to find cleaner that is safe and meant for cleaning out Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors safely, and DO NOT USE COMPRESSED AIR TO DRY IT OUT, it will evaporate on its own!:)

What you did should be fine then, Yeah Rivers is right, use only MAF approved cleaners on that sensor or you will break it for sure and be out around $200.

Handle the MAF sensor like it is a new born baby, very carefully!! Don't touch the wires in the MAF, don't drop it and no compressed air at all!! Had a friend not do that and quite a few coins later he had a brand new MAF!
