Stock built-in sub

My 2000 yukon's sub in the back is making very distorted bass sounds. It doesn't sound near what it's supposed to.

What should I do about replacing it, can I? What size is it? How hard is it to replace?

i know my 03 has an 8" sub up front, so your might have an 8" in the back

keep same impedance, just use a shallow mount sub. Many manufactures make them nowdays.
