I emailed gmpartshouse.com about the cashmere and there are none, BUT they said they showed 3 ebony or 22947767. I ordered that one and it should be here tomorrow. I think the black will look ok since there are is a lot of black trim around the dash and the center will be brown. Sort of a two tone look.

Need to figure out a way to take the back cover off of the steering wheel. They look to be rivited on

They must have gotten some more in. That was the first place I tried. I've placed another order. We'll see.

I hate the wood ring on the Ebony wheel in my Denali. Would one of these swap right in keeping all controls? How hard is the swap?

Looks super easy - just borrow the steering wheel puller from AutoZone or wherever.

From what I've read, there are only 3 heated steering wheels that are a direct swap. There are more options for non heated and they are way easier to find. The heated wheel is a needed feature for my wife.

GM part numbers:
22947767 ebony
22947768 titanium
22947769 cashmere
The only problem is they are discontinued. I couldn't find any cashmere. I did find 3 ebony ones, but there is only one left, at best. Not sure on the titanium, as it wouldn't match my interior at all

I got an email asking for VIN verification. I had the option to authorize the sale without matching the VIN, which is what I did. That's farther than I got when I tried to order one last time. Fingers crossed.

Looks pretty easy.

As far as colors go, is that the colors of the leather wrap or the center parts?

My Denali has silver posts and a black center/airbag part. Is that considered ebony or titanium?

The center side pieces are titanium
The middle airbag is ebony

You'd need this one 22947767. They may have one left at gmpartshouse.com...

I ordered one last night and received and email today for a VIN check to make sure it fits my vehicle. I have the option to process the order without a vin check if this is going on a custom vehicle or upgrade. Should I give my Denali vin or just authorize it without a vin?

I originally ordered with my Denali's VIN - never had to verify anything, so I figure a Denali VIN is ok.

Without. They'll think it's wrong as it is "supposed" to be the one with the wood insert.

I authorized without. I did mention in the email that I drive a Yukon with Ebony interior, just in case a human reads it. But I didn't supply a VIN. Of course, until I have the wheel in my hands, I'm not sure of anything.

Mine should be here tonight! Hopefully USPS makes another trip because there already delivered once today :(

Did you get any sort of shipment notification or tracking info? I've gotten nothing since I answered their request for VIN verification.

I have a tracking number and it's out for usps delivery. I don't think it will get here tonight, unless they make a special run...

Update...

My wheel just got delivered. I might leave early from work today :D

Wheel came in! Looks like I have to completely disassemble it to take off the back cover. Hopefully I can get it back together o_O

I must be the 4th to order one of these 3 available wheels they had in stock. After repying to the email they sent about needing my vin, I received another email saying that my part is special order from GM and will take 3-5 days to ship.

If it turns out that there isn't any available I'll just stick with my oem wheel. It's actually in great shape, no peeling, scuffs, or rubbed off areas. I just don't like the plastic wood ring on it.

Mine was delivered yesterday evening (Memorial day), right when the tracking said it would be. My lesson learned is to keep checking with vendors. It seems there are still a few bumping around here and there. They'll periodically end up available for purchase. Don't give up. And many thanks to @derfman00 for letting us know where a few had popped up!

Happy to help! I go back to the early 2000s as a member (and sponsor when I was an auto sales manager) of various enthusiast forums. I love supporting the forums as we are the ones who "know" the vehicles best. Also forums are a WAY better way to share and archive information.
