How much of a height difference is there between the standard spring on a yukon denali and a Z71 spring?

None they are the same spring, Denalis/Escalades/Z71s all use the same heavy duty spring. Unloaded height difference is about 2", I think stock Yukon/Tahoe are 15" and Z71 are 17"

Ok so since I have a denali and am removing the autoride system, would it be a good choice to change out the rear spring to the z71 spring since the air shock will not be there to help support the rearend?

If you have a denali then you have z71 springs, just put 5100 shocks all the way around
