What's the difference between a 2002 and 2005 escalade ??

It's mostly in the options and electronics, and 2005 comes standard with efans.

I believe there is a difference in the electronics (nav-dvd) maybe tranny but not sure, seats?

There were some minor upgrades to the 6.0 ** (LQ9) starting in 2005. I think the rods were upgraded and it got full floating pistons.

The bottom end is stronger. Not really a noticeable amount more power though.

02 should have the cabin air filter and 03+ will not have a cabin air filter.

Its just funny when you try to help out a forum member by finding an answer to their question....there just happens to be a thread on the Cadillac forum found via a Goggle search about his topic. A forum where there is nothing but Cadillac vehicles-so it would be considered a reliable source for info-and in turn I get some smart ass reply instead. :shrug:
