Got an 08 tahoe z71 and I'm going to be running a 10 inch sub. Problem is I can't have a huge box because I need as much space as I can get. Dogs and kids killed the space for me. So what are my options?

Thanks in advance

I had the same issue when I bought my 09 Denali. I had a JL 10W7 and there was now ay it'd fit behind the 3rd row. Wound up going with a slim JL 13.5 inch. Barely takes up any space and hits just as good and clean as a full size sub.

That sub costs a good amount though. There are cheaper slim sub options. There's also a guy on ebay who makes a down firing enclosure that fits behind the 3rd row. He was going to custom make me one for my 10" w7 before I just decided to get a new sub

Couple of ideas,
Under the center console
Between second row buckets (if equipped)
Stealth makes a hideous box that blocks the driver side rear window ($$$)
Shallow mount subs in false floor

If it doesn't have to be a 10", Alpine makes a tight little pre-fabbed 8" type-r that you can fit almost anywhere.
