I'm going to be getting a used GMT900 SUV and the one thing but I'm not in love with the road noise. I've driven a number of the different versions of the SUV's on this platform and they all seem louder on the freeway than I would want or expect. I know some of this is wind noise and some of it is road/tire noise (it seems excessively loud when you drive by a semi for example).
I've done sound deadening on tons of different vehicles and it has helped reduce road noise a lot on some vehicles a very small amounts on others.
How much does adding Dynamat to the 5 doors and floor help out on this vehicle? I would love to hear from others who have done this on their GMT900 vehicles. How much did it help and what spots did you hit? Thanks!
