[SOLVED] What is this part?

So I started my Tahoe and shifted it into drive and this fell onto my foot as I got ready to drive off. I looked up the part and chat got says it's a blend door actuator for a/c but other sources say it is a gear selector. The truck drives fine and I can cycle through all gears (park, neutral, reverse, drive, etc). 2008 Tahoe 5.3 210,000miles
