Finally I checked the resistance of the old shocks and the new installed shocks.
All the shocks have about 1,5 Ohm. But the left new installed shock has 0.0 Ohm.
For a test I connected the plug into one of the old shocks and the "service"-message was gone.
So here we go.
I have to send the left shock back and order a new one :(

Can anyone tell me what this resistance is for?
Does this affect the amount of air that is pumped into the shocks?
As I just "shorted" the the old shock with the connector I pulled out from an old shock...just to get rid of that message for now...

Dennis

I believe the magna ride and air shock are two different systems.
Using the stock rear height sensors you can retain rear self leveling with standard air shocks that are not magna ride.
I think the front sensors are telling the suspension how to behave on all 4 corners.
When i was messing with the length of the front rods they for sure affected the rear shocks also.
Messing with the rear sensor rod length only affected the rear height.

There is a resistance, as you are looking an electrical system/circuit. The Suspension Control System takes input from the 4 level sensors on the each suspension arm, the yaw sensor, plus some other inputs, and then it sends a specific electrical current to the shock, which controls the viscosity of the shock fluid, which controls the stiffness of the shock.

No resistance would imply an open circuit within the shock, meaning it is defective.

The question has been asked, but I don't recall seeing an answer from you. Are these new shocks OEM?

Just a quick update:

The shop sent me a new pair of shocks for free after I told them my problem.
They arrived last Saturday, and today I changed the left shock.
Now all the error codes are gone!

Thank you for your help and advice!!!!
