Aloha Folks! Does anyone know what type of adhesive is used to secure the receptacle to the rear glass defroster? I would think regular glue won’t work as it looks like it needs to be electrically conductive. Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Mahalo & Aloha!

I fixed one of those with regular electrical solder, but it failed quickly. I tried again with the solder, then reinforced it with JB weld, and it's holding up well.

The job was a PIA though because the solder falls all over the place...I didn't know there was a product that @Fless posted. I would try that. LOL

I soldered mine after cleaning the tab and window.
I melted some solder to the tab then held it to the window and let the solder iron melt the tab to the window.
Been good for a year now.
Aloha All,

I purchased some Permatex Rear Window Defogger at my local O’Reilly Auto Parts store. Watched a few videos on YouTube to get an idea on the procedure and it worked. It was relatively easy and the electrical checkout with my meter was a success. Mahalo for all your help and ideas! Aloha!
