I just got this truck and waited until I had the title back before listing. I recently traded for a 1996 K2500 6.5 turbo diesel truck. 6.5 turbo, NV4500 manual transmission and 4X4.
I am NOT a diesel mechanic. I drove it 150 miles home with a pretty bad fuel leak I have since fixed. The tires hold air and that's about it. Clutch pulls good but brakes are weak. I suspect the fuel leak contaminated them. I'd like to sell it or trade it for a gasser.
Known issues, pitman arm is shot so the steering is exciting. Sway bar end links are missing. Turbo is a rusted lump. I have a new one in a box. The body is fairly straight but rusty. The frame is solid. I was running 75 mph home so it really runs good. One tire lost its tread at that speed.
$4000 or trade for a gasser truck. Photos taken as I was changing the oil.
