Thought I might as well start one.

Some information about my PPV. She started her life with the NJSP in 2013, assigned to the Garden State Parkway as Car #192. She was retired around 2016 and then put into motorpool before headed to auction. Bought her with 114k miles on her and our friends at the NJ Turnpike Authority were kind enough to send us all her maintenance records and history on her. In addition I met the techs who equipped her and they were very happy to see her still being taken care of.

Here she is in 2017 when I first got her.

Here she is a few weeks after. Switched out the old Setina pushbumper with a Westin bumper and added 20% visor tint and front window tint as well as a Havis widebody console with a Whelen CenCom Carbide and Code 3 Supervisor interior lightbar. Everything in blue/white since here in NJ we can have blue/white to the front as firefighters.

Here she is in front of the Chevy gate at Daytona Speedway

Some new brakes for her (Raybestos Police rotors and pads)

New Goodyear RS-A Eagles and a set of current gen PPV rims for her as well as a new Setina PB450L pushbar with PB6 headlight/fender wraps. (My Westin rep busted me for getting rid of the Westin bar but they never made wraps for this gen Tahoe).

Putco Blade added to the rear step for full reverse, amber turn, and red brake/tail

Whelen Outer Edge added to my rear spoiler and custom wired into my CenCom Carbide for full control and giving me additional brake lighting along with Whelen Vertexes in the taillight housings.

Next plans is SLP resonator delete and possibly a muffler change. Might be upgrading to a current gen or 2021 in the next year or so though.

Nice. Looking good. Cops don't bother you for the red lights? Probably think you're a cop too lol. I gotta keep an eye for you.

They usually do. If they don't, they disable what they leave behind--usually just by cutting and tucking wires.

Nope, red to the rear is legal. Most of the cops in my area back in NJ know because I've done their vehicles. I've been questioned twice in Florida about it but as soon as I tell them they're fine with it. Main thing is just don't try pulling people over or turning them on and going through redlights and what not.

Departments will remove all their emergency equipment, and some of it will get reused in their new vehicles, or also sold at auction. All the equipment I have on mine was installed by myself.
