what is done to the trans? that sounds like its really slipping...my shifts from first to second jerks hard, and just by the exhaust you can tell how hard it shifts..thats just with a shift kit and servo..

i had a shop put in a b&m stage 2 kit its supposed to hold up to 450HP it used to be nice and hard ***** but after a couple mods its getting worse and worse. is it time for a rebuild or just swap to something that will support more power?

the tranny has been in for about 25,000 and it still smells new. (chemical smell)

fluids are in check. there clean and right at the full line. do you think it could be that i just need something that can handle more power?

Mine also jerks hard from first to second. Other gears are fine though. It didnt look to bad from the videos? I dont really believe in modding a 13 year old transmission but that is just my opinion..

I agree with 350Vortec, I wouldnt mod an old warn tranny.
Also, was the shop reputable?
I brought my truck to a few shops to see if they would install a shift kit, got turned down quite a few times. The only shop that would do it wanted an arm and a leg to do it. Finally said eff it and took the plunge on the tranny I have now. Drives like stock under normal conditions, romp on it and its a monster.

yeah the shop is reputable, the owner is a close friend of mine. he told me what he did is the same thing he did to his pro stock camaro drag car. idk. he said it would hold 45hp no problem... does this mean im putting out close to that 450 mark?

yeah he is in Sacramento. for all intensive purposes my hoe is bullet proof up to just the standard 9mm. but his shop does performance to the cars they armor. they want everything to perform stock or better.
