Well, I hope this pans out. I have a guy that has been in touch for 2 days and had to arrange time off from work. He is coming from Cave Junction, Oregon, which is a little south and west of Medford and Grants Pass, Oregon. Leaving at 9 a.m. and he said would be here by 12:30. He asked if I would help load. He wants the boxes and whatever tools I have not sold already....he says. Shall see tomorrow.

Yea, there is. If he shows up after a 3 hour drive with a trailer, I hope he is serious. That is why I took so many clear pics and was very detailed in my descriptions.

I even did something I never see in any other tool boxes for sale ads, I gave exact measurements.

Will do, but my 3 tier Snap On and my roll around US General cart will still be here.

Well damn. I guess you're gonna have to get creative.

Seriously, if this guy pans out, I'd have to say that your tool flip scheme has worked impressively quickly and smoothly.

Surprised me too. I have already sold $1270 in hand tools and still have valuable sets for buyers. I will let everyone know how it all goes.

Settled on $5k even and it is gone, Bought for $4k and sold all for $6270. The buyer built the channeled steel ramps last night so we could load/roll the empty bottom and side box right up on the trailer. Worked like a champ. Unloaded all tools into totes that he brought and put the top box in back of his pickup.

So... $2270 and an improved tool collection? Well done.

joe
Yea, I would say that the tools I kept added up to approx $600, if I was to sell them. To make room in my boxes, I gave them an OTC box set for working on a/c compressor clutches and pulley bearings....etc. I don't do that work here and did not need it.

Very soon, gonna put the ReTrax bed cover up for sale and will not remove it till I sell it. On the 2004 K2500 HD crew cab, 6.5 foot bed. I want to show a buyer that it works as should and looks good. When they buy it, they can use my tools to disassemble it for their truck use.

We are gonna put an A.R.E. bed cap on that is matching color and is higher in the back part of it. She had one on her 1990 GMT400 and loved it.
