I will ask one last time.

Did you check the cable under the drivers carpet area by physically pulling up the carpet there and looking for a worn sheathing?

I am sorry yes i did apears to be no tears or worn holes that i can see...thanks for your help.

very well, remove the column cover and concentrate on the components in the C/S only box.

what will i be looking for in the c/s area.does any one have a skamatic of all parts.dont have know how or tools to be takeing off sterring wheel and such.sorry for being such a burden....

can see alittle. holly lots of crap batman,looks way over my head.is the shift mechanism in there???? well does my sterrinr wheel and all that have to come off????

no the stuff you are looking for is just the stuff in the doted line box that says c/s only. is is visible with column cover off.
