Shark Fin Antenna Replacement

Has anyone had their antenna replaced before? I’m checking sites and it seems the replacement only comes in black and I need it in red. If not, I guess I need to get in black and have it painted. Is this easy to install or should I take it to a shop?

Someone tried to steal my Yukon again but didn’t make it past the OBD blocker and IGLA. They left with my antenna though. :/

I’m not an OEM parts guy - but you could go to a dealer with your VIN to determine if the antennae is serviced in your paint color (or only black - paint to match).

Thanks, I'll have to do just that. I'm going to take it to a body shop but was hoping to have the part on hand since I'm paying out of pocket to get this repaired. Though it'll probably be cheaper with the time saved to just let them figure it out.

@915_Tahoe could tell you if colors are available. Post up the last 8 digits of your VIN and tag him when you do.
