Not sure if this is the diagram or not, it wasn’t clear in the 98 manual. If the wires don’t match, I’ll take another look.

If I'm reading that right, I want:

Gnd: Bk 13 150
Pwr: Org 15 1140
Swtch: Pk 7 314

Wire color, pin number and I'm guessing wire number???

This is the connector I have:

Only the top row of that is populated. Bottom row is empty.

Based on the diagram, I should have 12 constant power across the black and orange which I don't seem to have on a VOM with test leads inserted to the sockets.

Wiring/photo is in reverse order from the diagram, but seems correct except for the last one. They call PNK, but mine is light blue.

Edit, just trying to put a small digital clock in if anybody cares.

Yes, the last numbers are just circuit numbers. I don’t see a connector pinout and they didn’t number the connector so I guess there isn’t one.

I’m unsure if the 12V is always hot or not, unless someone unplugged the other end from the radio? Here are the preceding pages, but they don’t really help much.

I assume by the 10th digit ("W") of your VIN that you have a 1998? Please confirm. It would be helpful to state that when you post or just put your vehicle info in your signature and it will always be there.

This diagram has the same colors except that the end one that is blue on your connector is pink on the diagram (same as @east302 mentioned):

Disregard ... that whole connector is dead.

It feeds from the factory radio which isn't there at all, replaced by a digital aftermarket unit.

There is no power to it, no connections at all without the factory radio. One plug to the radio, the other to the CD unit.

Wild goose chase here, but leave the diagrams up for somebody else to see someday.
