seat track fix?

anyone have a fix to a loose wobbly seat track? i really dont want to buy a new one i would assume theres got to be a way to fix it, so any ideas?

I dont see any damage i can take pictures tomorrow. They make popping noises and rock back and forth a bit

ok i will see what i can do, ive looked at it before but it seems i cant see much

You probably busted the mount on the front that connects the seat to the slider assembly, it's a thin lil metal piece, there is one at each corner. I busted both of the front ones on mine. I was going to weld it back together but never did, just put an aftermarket seat in. I will eventually put it back to the OE lower seat section but I'm not in a rush.

i took a look at it and it wiggles where the pins go in from the seat track to the seat mount that goes to the floor

I think I would still need to see a pic to be sure but it sounds like a part that could not be fixed.

wear and tear. You will spend more time chasing the issue. easier to replace it.

Yeah but that costs too much... a local dealerd about to take a 95 to auction so i was gonna see if they wanted to do the old switcher-roo with me

this is a old thread but if you can find a 99 model get the seats
out of it this is the yr they used the beefy seat tracks i changed mine to these power seats .

Same problem..... The fing thing makes a click noise when I move or hit bumps.
