Worked pretty good on my truck. Im gonna do it again soon. Next time im using more. I barely got any smoke last time. This is probably because i have a rebuilt engine.

Before my BB tune, I ran 2 cans in my tank after a fuel filter change and a can in my new oil after running an engine gunk cleaner in the oil. My Tahoe was driving like it was made of WD40!

i hope yall like it i just got a rebuilt engine in my truck im gonna run it every damn oil change
thats a little overkill, it wont really help at every 3000

Isn't there a SeaFoam intake cleaner too? Maybe something you suck in via a disconnected vacuum line?

Thats how normal intake is done to cylinders in the engine with about a 1/3 pint of seafoam. They make a spray cleaner for the throttle body and the intake called "deep creep" that works great too. thats a more involved process then just seafoaming through a vaccum line.

Reason I asked is because I just manually cleaned a throttle body on the F*rd 460 in my motorhome, and I still want to clean the manifold but I DON'T want to have to remove it to do so. Too ugly a job. Was hoping there was a good DIY method for that part of the job.

The backside of the throttle plates were black and nasty. It had a slight catch when pressing the gas pedal down off idle it was so gummed up. I expect the manifold will need more than one cleaning--or do you think one 1/3 pint shot of Seafoam would be enough?

honestly if your engine was fully rebuilt you got some time before you really need to do it. Run some nice oil through her at every change and that thing will be clean as a whistle. But serisously maybe in a year or two you could seafoam but it really wont need much cleaning. -your lucky

I would try and clean by hand as much as possible, its a PITA but well worth it. Then run a 1/3 pint through and you will be amazed, but some in the gas (believe an ounce for every gallon, run to empty and then refill) that way you will clean out the lines and injectors as well.

Oh dont worry about it, with 104 its prime for some seafoam, pull in a 1/3 pint through the vac line, wait 20 min, and watch the magic. it will do wonders, i just did mine 300 miles ago and have 213,000 miles on the clock, 104 was just breakin her in :)
