Screen issues

I have noticed a couple times recently where I’ve tried to press an entry on my entertainment screen and it does absolutely nothing. I’ve tried shutting off the radio, and that doesn’t seem to help either. The only thing that seems to help is time and also shutting off the car and then going back in and it seems to correct itself eventually. I’m worried that the screen is starting to go l, but the car only has about 25,000 miles on it. It’s a 2020. Anyone else have issues like this? Thanks.

Its the LCD screen going bad. It happened twice on my 2017. 1st was warranty and that failed again after 2 years. 2nd time I just bought the screen assembly off Amazon and replaced it myself. Parts were about $200. It's a bit of a pickle to do, but if you're mechanically inclined with some basic tools you can tackle it yourself.

It's worked fine since replacement, but the color is slightly less rich than OEM, but all functions are the same.

Its just a bunch of trim pieces that need to be removed to get the radio out. After that, it's finite work with small electronic tools (think cell phone screen replacement set of non-conductive type picks, etc). These are also on Amazon for a few bucks.

There's some good videos on YouTube. I just found one I liked and played/paused it as needed. It took a couple hours, but its way cheaper than the stealership.
