Whats happenin'? I will like to know where are your RPMs when you are traveling @ 80MPH and what rear end do you have? I used to have a 99 4dr tahoe with 3.73 with 275/65/15 on it. My RPMs at @ 80 were 2500 RPM. Was this normal? Would have this engine speed be putting alot of wear to the enging and tranny? Is there a MPG difference when your engine is spinning less? I do plan to buy a tahoe or a yukon denali sometime next year.

Hey, 2 Door Tahoe, 98, 4WD, 285/60/r18, and its between 2200-2500rpms...size in tires effect it, and there is a difference in MPG when ur engine is spinning less...Smaller pulleys, electric fan.
